Abhishek Bachchan Beat Hollywood Star Will Smith To A Guinness World Record!

Abhishek Bachchan is known for being sharp-witted and his twitter responses have established that fact quite well. Junior B is not only known for his films but also for his cool stature, the fact that he can rap and his admirable love for his family.
But there is one more thing Bollywood has when it has Junior B and that is a Guinness World Record!

Abhishek Bachchan holds the record of ‘Most Public Appearances Made By A Film Star In 12 Hours.’ He achieved this while promoting his film Delhi-6 in the year 2009. 

He did all his promotional activities in 7 cities including Ghaziabad, Noida, Faridabad, Delhi, Gurgaon, Chandigarh and Mumbai.

He travelled 1,800 kms in total through his private jet and car on Feb 22, 2009, to make this possible. He beat actor Will Smith who made three public appearances in two hours in the year 2004 for his film ‘I, Robot’.

Abhishek Bachchan should now challenge his own record with a really cool next movie, that would be really fun to see? Hey, Jr. AB, I’ll be rooting for that!

Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan won't be a part of 'Sarkaar 3'!

Ace filmmaker Ram Gopal Verma took to his Twitter account and announced that the third instalment of the Sarkaar franchise will not feature Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Abhishek Bachchan as per the storyline. The duo were a part of the second film titled Sarkaar Raj in the Sarkaar series.
Verma further informed that the first look of Sarkaar 3 will be launched on August 26. However, he kept it a secret whether Amitabh Bachchan will be there in the third part or not and wrote that the rest of the cast details will be announced soon.

Abhishek Bachchan’s casting in Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna was unusual and hilarious!

This day, ten years ago Karan Johar’s boldest movie Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna (2006) was released. The film that dealt with infidelity and extra-marital affair, was deemed too bold for the Indian audience at the time of release and also many didn’t like the idea of central characters involved in extra-marital affair. The film was praised for its performances, but was an average grosser at Indian box office. Karan Johar, at many events had spoken highly of the film and how the movie was way ahead of its time.
On tenth anniversary, one of the lead of the movie Abhishek Bachchan posted an emotional and nostalgic tribute to Karan Johar and the movie itself in an instagram post. He went to reveal how he got the role in Karan Johar movie. He mentioned watching Karan’s first movie Kuch Kuch Hota Hai (1998) and how Karan instantly became his favourite director. He went on to reveal how he was overwhelmed by the sheer magnitude of his vision, when he visited the sets of Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham (2001). And then finally how he was offered the part in Karan Johar directed film finally in 2006, which he always dreamt of since the day he watched his first movie way back in 1998. In fact, his casting story is rather funny and goes on to show the charisma and wit of Karan Johar. Abhishek Bachchan posted this fun fact on his instagram page and we must say it will make you chuckle.

Amitabh Bachchan, now 73, is the star of films like Sholay, Deewaar, Silsila, Anand, Coolie, Abhimaan, Black, Sarkar, Paa and Piku. He was last seen in Ribhu Dasgupta's Te3n and will be seen next in Pink.

On Thursday, Abhishek, 40, shared another lovely throwback picture starring him and Big B.

Abhishek, son of actors Amitabh and Jaya Bachchan, made his debut in 2000 with Refugee, co-starring Kareena Kapoor. Abhishek, who has also featured in films like Dhoom, Bunty Aur Babli, Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna, Bluffmaster! and Paa, was last seen in Housefull 3, co-starring Akshay Kumar, Riteish Deshmukh, Jacqueline Fernandez, Lisa Haydon and Nargis Fakhri.

Abhishek Bachchan married Aishwarya Rai on April 20, 2007 and their daughter Aaradhya was born in 2012.

Abhishek Bachchan completes 16 years in Bollywood

Junior Bachchan completed 16 years in Bollywood on 30th June 2016! After a noteworthy debut in Refugee, the actor went on to star in a number of comedy, romantic and action packed films carving a niche for himself and earning loads of love from his fans!
To celebrate the special occasion, Abhishek’s die-hard fans took to Twitter to run a contest called the #ToughestABQuiz. Featuring some of the toughest questions surrounding the actor, the contest was announced by the fan club by posting a cute video of Abhishek thanking his fans for their undying support and love. The hashtag #ToughestABQuiz trended in India and various Junior Bachchan fans participated in the contest on Twitter. The contest went on to be a success and trended on Twitter.
The actor has had a wonderful stint in Bollywood and reaching 16 years is no mean feat! Apart from a hat trick of comedy films with to his name and slaying girls with his uber cool fashion sense, Abhishek also invested in a Kabaddi and Football team giving sports further impetus in our country.

Proud parents Abhishek Bachchan, Aishwarya Rai and Shilpa Shetty at their kids' annual day

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Shilpa Shetty had delivered lectures on their kids' annual day last year.  And this year too, they were all set to watch their kids Aaradhya and Viaan perform on stage at the Annual Day celebration of their school.

Just like last year, Shilpa Shetty and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan are back to cheer their kids at the school's annual day. But this time they are accompanied by their husbands Raj Kundra and Abhishek Bachchan respectively. Shilpa took to Twitter to share a selfie of their proud moment.

Aishwarya and Shilpa had delivered lectures on their kids' annual day last year.  And this year too, they were all set to watch their kids Aaradhya and Viaan perform on stage at the Annual Day celebration of their school.

Aishwarya's daughter Aaradhya is one of the popular star kids on the block. The four-year-old recently made a get well soon card for Aishwarya, who was keeping unwell and even had postponed her Sarbjit shoot.

In an interview, a parent from Aaradhya's class said, "Aaradhya did something so sweet at school that it melted all out hearts. Aishwarya has been unwell for the last few days with a very bad viral and bad throat infection. In fact, she has been so unwell that a couple of days shoot for Sarbjit had to be postponed till next week. But despite that, Ash has still been going to drop and fetch Aaradhya from school as she always does. Aaradhya made a get-well-soon card in class and when the actor went to fetch her on Thursday as usual, she gave it to her at the gate. Aishwarya was so touched that she become emotional as did some of the other parents who had come to fetch their kids."

On the work front, Aishwarya will be seen in Sarbjit and Abhishek is all set to tickle the funny bone with his upcoming film Here Pheri 3.

Abhishek Bachchan set to lift the 'Spirit of Chennai' with Vikram

Vikram has got yet another star onboard for his "Spirit of Chennai" song. The latest celebrity to join him is none other than Bollywood actor Abhishek Bachchan.
Abhishek Bachchan joined the shoot on Thursday, 7 January. He had a fantastic time with Vikram and his team. Prabhu Deva has also taken part in the special song.
Sources say Abhishek and Vikram are close friends. It just took one phone call from Chiyaan for the Bollywood actor to come to Chennai to be part of the track. His gesture has been appreciated by the actor and the entire team. Meanwhile, Malayalam actor Nivin Pauly also too took part in the shoot.
So far, Jayam Ravi, Jeeva, Varalaxmi Sarathkumar, Suriya, Sivakarthikeyan and many others have taken part in the shooting. Kannada superstar Puneeth Rajkumar, Yash, Telugu actors Prabhas and Ram Charan Teja will be making guest appearance in the number.
"Spirit of Chennai" is a special song directed by Vikram as a tribute to the volunteers and the citizens of Chennai who stood strong when unprecedented rain led to floods and wreaked havoc in the city last month. People then united to help others cutting across all barriers, and the song praises such acts that brought out the best in people.
Meanwhile, Kamal Haasan and Vijay are also expected to join the shooting. The audio song, with devastating visuals of the flood, was released recently. The actual video featuring the celebrities will be released soon.
